Trump Honors Charlie Kirk at Memorial Service, Praises His Legacy

President Trump delivered remarks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday evening, describing the late activist as a “radicalized, cold-blooded monster” who was violently killed for advocating freedom, justice, and reason. The 47th President likened the gathering to an “old-time revival,” emphasizing how Kirk’s influence drew enormous crowds in life and death.

Trump highlighted Kirk’s unwavering dedication to America, stating, “He loved America with everything he had. And as we can see so clearly today, America loved Charlie Kirk.” He praised Kirk’s “noble spirit” and “great, great purpose,” noting the activist’s ability to unite people despite disagreements. However, Trump diverged from Kirk’s philosophy, admitting, “I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them,” before offering a reluctant apology to Kirk’s wife, Erika.

The President concluded by declaring Kirk’s message “bigger than ever” and asserted that he is now “eternal.” He encouraged attendees that Kirk is “in heaven” and invited Erika Kirk on stage for a final tribute.
