Authorities in Arizona confirmed that a bomb squad was dispatched to the Turning Point USA headquarters on Wednesday after a suspicious item was discovered outside the building. The incident occurred on September 17, with the bag found near the organization’s Phoenix location at 48th Street and Baseline Road.
Police described the response as an “abundance of caution,” with the area temporarily evacuated while investigators examined the object. By approximately 9:30 a.m., officials announced the bag had been cleared as safe, and restrictions were lifted. No details about the contents of the bag or any arrests were disclosed.
The headquarters has remained under increased security since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, in Utah on September 10. The group has become a focal point for supporters following his death.
