AG Pam Bondi Dismisses DOJ Employee After Middle Finger Incident with National Guard

Attorney General Pam Bondi has terminated a Department of Justice employee following an incident where the individual reportedly displayed disrespect toward a National Guard member. The paralegal, identified as Elizabeth Baxter, was fired after allegedly making offensive gestures and verbal remarks during her commute to work in Washington, D.C.

According to internal records, Baxter arrived at the DOJ’s “4CON” building on August 18 and boasted to a security guard about giving the middle finger to a National Guard member at Metro Center Metro Stop. She reportedly told the guardsman, “F–k the National Guard,” before entering the facility. Security footage later captured Baxter repeating the gesture and saying, “F–k you!” while on site. She allegedly demonstrated the act to another security guard days later.

The termination followed similar actions against another DOJ employee, Sean Dunn, who was charged with misdemeanor assault after throwing a sandwich at a Customs and Border Protection agent in August. Dunn, who was confirmed as a Justice Department worker at the time, confronted federal agents near a nightlife area, shouting, “F— you! You f—ing fascists!” before launching the sandwich.

Bondi emphasized the department’s commitment to upholding its mission, stating that any individual opposing its objectives or showing disrespect toward law enforcement would no longer be employed by the DOJ.
