White House Slams Marjorie Taylor Greene’s False Claims of U.S. Nuclear Threat Against Iran

The White House has rebuked former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene for spreading false claims that the Trump administration is actively discussing nuclear strikes on Iran.

In a post on X, Greene asserted she knows with certainty the administration is “discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings.” She wrote: “I’m not speculating,” “I know.”

White House spokesman Davis Ingle condemned Greene’s statements, stating: “Marjorie ‘Quitter’ Greene has no idea what she is talking about. The former Congresswoman disgracefully quit on her constituents during the middle of her term, and wants to pretend like she has insight into the President’s thinking. She is completely out of the loop and should quit spreading Fake News.”

Greene has been a vocal opponent of U.S. military action in Iran since the conflict began. The White House emphasized that nuclear weapons would cause unprecedented suffering, citing the aftermath of the last nuclear weapon usage on August 6th and 9th, 1945, when atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These attacks immediately killed approximately 110,000 people and resulted in over 214,000 deaths by the end of the year due to radiation sickness, severe burns, trauma, skyrocketing cancer rates, and generational birth defects.

The administration has noted President Trump claimed to have “won” the war against Iran multiple times and maintains control of the Strait of Hormuz. However, Greene’s assertions have raised concerns that the U.S. government might be lowering its nuclear threshold against Iran—a move that could trigger global conflict and mass human suffering.

A call to action urges: “Do not use nuclear weapons and stop this war NOW.”
