Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend,” Vance said. The show will stream on Rumble at 12:00pm ET Monday.

Vance and Kirk were close friends for many years, long before the now-VP entered politics. In a letter shared after Kirk’s death, Vance reflected on their friendship, noting that Kirk was one of the first people he contacted when considering his 2021 Senate campaign. He credited Kirk with connecting him to key figures, including Donald Trump Jr., and described him as a dedicated advocate who influenced Trump’s VP selection process.

Vance learned of Kirk’s shooting via text during a meeting in the West Wing. Messages from group chats revealed widespread prayers for him. On X, Vance posted an extended tribute, recalling how Kirk reached out after a 2017 TV appearance to praise his work, sparking their enduring friendship. He highlighted Kirk’s intellectual curiosity, openness to changing his mind, and role in shaping political discourse.

Vance emphasized Kirk’s support during his campaign, including introducing him to donors and offering strategic guidance. He also spoke of Kirk’s personal generosity, noting how he checked in on Vance’s family during the VP nomination process. “Charlie was a true friend,” Vance said, describing his ability to unite people and foster collaboration.

On Thursday, Vance and his wife traveled to Utah to accompany Kirk’s family and casket back to Phoenix on Air Force Two. The following day, Andrew Kolvet, a producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” hosted the program with Kirk’s friends Tyler Bowyer, Jack Posobiec, and Blake Neff.
