Trump Unveils White House Drone Defense System, Accuses Judge Leon of Security Breach

President Trump announced a new security initiative at the White House, designating a drone defense system for the presidential complex. The project, which will be installed on the White House Ballroom roof, was revealed through Trump’s Truth Social account.

The announcement described the DronePort as “the most sophisticated anywhere in the world” and framed it as necessary to safeguard Washington, D.C. against modern aerial threats. Trump stated that the nation can no longer defend its capital with traditional methods such as “rifles and pistols.”

In his post, Trump directly criticized U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, accusing him of undermining national security by allowing sensitive information to be disclosed through a lawsuit. He claimed the judge had enabled a “ridiculous lawsuit” initiated by a “highly litigious woman” who has “absolutely no standing,” and demanded immediate dismissal of the case.

The White House also referenced an interview with Lara Trump discussing Ballroom construction and other major initiatives. The legal dispute over the project remains ongoing.
