A Trump administration official was physically attacked by a “deranged leftist” at the United Nations General Assembly this week, according to reports. The incident involved an individual who breached security protocols and targeted the official, who was affiliated with the Department of Health and Human Services.

A White House official stated that the victim was followed into a bathroom, recorded, and subjected to verbal abuse before being physically assaulted. The attacker, identified as Patricia Schuh, 62, was arrested and charged with assault, harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon. She was released from custody Friday but is scheduled for court on November 13.

The U.S. delegation condemned the attack, calling it an “outrage” and demanding accountability. A spokesperson for the United Nations acknowledged internal failures, noting that the organization has “lost its way.” Details revealed that the attacker confronted the official in a bathroom stall, shouting insults while shining a light in her face. The incident lasted approximately 10 minutes before the victim escaped.
