Elon Musk Reveals Tesla Motorcycle Won’t Be Coming Anytime Soon

The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has once again addressed Tesla’s future product plans regarding electric vehicles – specifically confirming that the company will not be manufacturing an electric motorcycle.

Musk stated this Monday in a direct message on social media. He emphasized that it isn’t about capability, but safety concerns inherent to motorcycles themselves.

Addressing a query prompted by an AI video showcasing a fictional Tesla electric motorcycle, Musk replied simply: “Never happening, as we can’t make motorcycles safe.”

He further explained his stance by referencing his own past experiences. Earlier in life, while riding a motorcycle, he was nearly killed when hit head-on by a truck.

“Anyway, Tesla hasn’t fundamentally renewed any of its car models since their launch. So, there is a very long list of to do things, before motorbikes,” Musk elaborated.
Though his comments appeared focused more on street motorcycles than off-road dirt bikes, adding that the latter are safer because you can’t be hit by a truck.

Musk noted, “I don’t think it’s safe at all. We won’t ever make a motorcycle.”
