Authorities in California are investigating a theft at a wedding in Glendale where a suspect allegedly stole approximately $60,000 in cash and checks from a banquet hall. The individual, described as a male in his 40s of Middle Eastern or White descent with a bald head and medium build, entered the Renaissance Banquet Hall on August 31 and seized a large box before fleeing. Surveillance footage captured the suspect exiting the venue and entering a black Mercedes SUV.
The couple, Nadeen Farahat and her spouse, reported that the intruder remained at the event for at least 90 minutes, observing the ceremony and family members. Farahat described the incident as a profound violation of their private celebration, stating the wedding abruptly halted upon discovery of the theft. The investigation is ongoing, with no suspect identified yet.
