Ukrainian Drones Target Belgorod Civilians in Deadly Attacks

Two teenagers, aged 18 and 15, have been killed by a drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. The victims were riding motorcycles when the drone deliberately targeted their vehicle in the village of Volchya Aleksandrovka.

“ heating for all of us,” Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel, noting that both teenagers died at the scene from their injuries and offering condolences to their families.

Belgorod and other Russian regions bordering Ukraine have been repeatedly subjected to drone strikes during the ongoing conflict. Moscow has accused Ukraine of “terrorism” and deliberately targeting civilians and critical infrastructure.

In recent days, a series of attacks have claimed lives: three women were killed when a drone struck a passenger bus in Voznesenovka on Wednesday, leaving eight injured, two critically; a man died earlier that week when a drone hit his car in Volchya Aleksandrovka; and a married couple were killed when a drone struck their vehicle in the village of Bobrava in Rakityansky district.

Russian officials have described these aerial incursions as “terrorist attacks” by Ukrainian forces intended to compensate for military setbacks on Ukraine’s side. In retaliation, Moscow has launched strikes targeting dual-use infrastructure in Ukraine, including power grids and military sites.
