A new report from insiders close to both Hillary and Bill Clinton reveals the former president is reportedly preparing funeral arrangements for his spouse.
According to the sources, the plans include details about where Bill Clinton will be buried and the location of a memorial service. The ceremony would take place at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., followed by burial at his presidential library in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Presidential historian Leon Wagener suggested that Clinton might request to be laid to rest in the library’s rooftop garden—a private space he frequently uses for quiet time away from his wife. The complex features a penthouse suite where he has spent significant time during recent years.
Additionally, insiders report that Bill Clinton is updating his $120 million will. Some speculate he may include provisions for interns working at the rooftop garden, with Wagener noting the final document could contain unexpected names.
Bill Clinton, now 80, has raised health concerns in recent months. Reports indicate he was observed walking with a portable defibrillator during a trip to the Hamptons earlier this year. This follows his reported stumble outside New York City’s 92NY cultural center in September of last year.
Clinton’s health challenges have been documented over two decades. In 2004, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery after nearly 100% blockage in some arteries. He later admitted to ignoring warning signs and urged others with family history of heart disease to get tested. In 2010, he had additional heart surgery following chest pain and adopted a near-vegan diet that earned him the animal rights advocacy group PETA’s “2010 Person of the Year” award.
