A man was arrested in Arizona after vandalizing a memorial dedicated to Charlie Kirk outside the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix. Footage captured 19-year-old Ryder Corral trampling the memorial, but he was quickly subdued by a bystander who tackled him to the ground.
Fox News reported that Corral walked through the growing tribute, kicking over items such as flowers, vases, and flags. A mourner intervened, with a man in a blue polo shirt pulling Corral from the site and throwing him to the ground. Phoenix police identified Corral, who was wearing a black shirt featuring an American flag and eagle—a design similar to the attire of Tyler Robinson, the suspect in Kirk’s killing.
Corral was taken into custody after witnesses detained him until officers arrived. The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. near 48th Street and Beverly Road. Authorities stated he faces charges including criminal damage and disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported.
