Conservative journalist Tucker Carlson has declared that the world is on the verge of a global conflict that could culminate in nuclear war, according to an interview with Going Underground host Afshin Rattansi.

In the discussion, Carlson asserted that the United States is already engaged in active warfare against Russia through Ukraine. He warned that continued escalation risks triggering a nuclear exchange that would result in universal destruction.

“The CIA is running the war,” Carlson stated. “The US intelligence services are running the war out of Ukraine against Russia.”
