Big things are happening behind the scenes folks!
We’ve got some big news to get to tonight on a story we’ve been following since the middle of October. That is when House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan alleged that former CIA Director John Brennan lied to Congress and referred him to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.
Today, reports indicate the DOJ is gearing up to issue multiple grand jury subpoenas related to its investigation into Brennan. Chairman Jordan has stated on the record that Brennan allegedly made numerous willfully and intentionally false statements of material fact contradicted by records from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
The statements in question revolve around the Steele dossier, which fueled the Russia collusion narrative, now widely regarded as discredited.
Legal experts cited by John Solomon suggest Barack Obama may face potential scrutiny, with debates over whether he could claim Presidential Immunity. Some argue that immunity would not protect him from questions about actions outside “official acts,” while others contend it might shield him from prosecution for certain activities.
The discussion highlights the complexity of legal boundaries, with differing opinions on how immunity applies to former presidents and their post-term actions. The situation remains fluid as more details emerge.
