YouTube Bans ‘Dangerous’ Apricot Seed Cancer Treatment Claims as Censorship Debate Intensifies

A recent video on YouTube featuring an interview with Jan James has been removed by the platform, labeled as “dangerous content that poses a serious risk of egregious harm.” The video discussed the potential health benefits of apricot seeds, citing historical and religious references to their use.

The creator of the content, Noah, claims the video was taken down despite its focus on natural remedies and personal testimonies about cancer treatment. He argues that the removal aligns with a broader pattern of censorship by “mainstream media” and tech platforms, suggesting such actions are driven by commercial interests rather than public safety.

The discussion centered on apricot seeds’ association with compounds like Vitamin B17 (laetrile), which some claim target cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. Noah emphasized that he does not promote the seeds as a cure but highlights documented cases spanning decades. He also criticized YouTube’s decision, comparing it to historical suppression of alternative medical ideas.

The video was later reposted on Rumble, with the creator urging viewers to access the content there. A separate interview with Rick Hill, who claims to have recovered from terminal cancer using an unconventional method, was also mentioned as part of a broader narrative about alternative treatments.

Noah reiterated his stance that individuals should have the right to share health-related stories without corporate or institutional interference, framing the debate as a conflict between personal freedom and regulatory control.
