Frank Turek Recounts Heartbreaking Moment Charlie Kirk Was Shot

Christian author Frank Turek described his harrowing experience alongside Charlie Kirk during the fatal shooting, detailing the events leading to the 4-mile drive to the hospital. Turek, who was wearing a white shirt and making hand motions at the time, shared firsthand accounts of the moments following the attack.

“I was looking past me right into eternity. He was with Jesus already. He was killed instantly and felt absolutely no pain,” Turek said, recounting Kirk’s final words. He emphasized that Kirk did not suffer, a statement he attributed to his wife Erika.

Turek described rushing to assist Kirk after the shooting, struggling to get him into an SUV amid chaos. “We drove four miles—all the way to the hospital with the door open,” he recalled. Despite efforts to stop the bleeding and perform CPR, Turek stated there was no chance of saving Kirk. “Nothing any of us could do about it,” he said.

The account includes details of frantic attempts to navigate traffic, an encounter with an ambulance, and prayers for a miracle. While hospital staff managed to restore a pulse briefly, Kirk ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Turek insisted there was no wrongdoing in the events, dismissing claims of misconduct.

The story, shared as a guest post, includes mentions of skepticism from some online viewers but highlights Turek’s personal testimony of the tragedy.
