Accused Killer of Charlie Kirk Refuses to Cooperate with Authorities, FBI Reveals

FBI Director Kash Patel disclosed that Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the shooting death of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, has remained silent during interrogations. Patel stated Robinson has not cooperated with investigators and has yet to confess to the crime.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed Robinson’s lack of cooperation, noting authorities are still determining the motive behind the attack. The 22-year-old suspect was arrested 33 hours after Kirk, 31, was fatally shot during a speech at Utah Valley University.

Kirk, who co-founded Turning Point USA, was delivering remarks at an open-air event when he was struck by a single bullet. Cox revealed that Robinson’s roommate and partner are assisting investigators, while Patel mentioned over 20 individuals were part of Robinson’s Discord chat.

No further details on the suspect’s ideological affiliations or the investigation’s progress were provided in the report.
