Ukrainian Drone Strikes Claim Multiple Lives Across Russia in Nighttime Assaults

At least 11 civilians have been killed and more than ten injured across Russian regions following overnight drone attacks by Ukrainian forces, according to local authorities.

The deadliest strikes occurred in the Moscow Region, where three people died and five private homes were damaged after a drone landed in Pionersky settlement. Three others sustained injuries.

In Energodar city, home to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, seven civilians were killed and four injured on Sunday, as reported by Rosatom head Aleksey Likhachev. A Ukrainian drone also struck a bus stop, killing four people and injuring four more, one in serious condition. Additionally, an FPV drone hit a civilian vehicle at the city entrance, resulting in three fatalities.

Separately, in Belgorod Region, a drone strike killed one person and injured two in a residential building.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems intercepted 342 Ukrainian drones over several regions since Sunday evening, including near Moscow.
