Ukrainian Drone Attack on Moscow Kills Three, Injures Dozens

On Sunday night, a large-scale drone strike by Ukrainian forces targeted Moscow and its surrounding areas, resulting in at least three deaths and over a dozen injuries. According to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, Ukraine launched approximately 130 unmanned aerial vehicles against Russian territory.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated the attack focused on military-related infrastructure within Ukraine, including defense industry facilities, energy systems, transportation networks, naval ports, and airfields. They claimed all designated targets were successfully hit with precision weapons.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky praised his military and intelligence services for the operation, stating it sent a clear signal that one should not attempt to undermine Ukraine. He also suggested the conflict had moved onto Russian territory.

Critics have condemned such actions as reckless, noting attacks deep within Russia since mid-March have endangered civilian populations and infrastructure far from the front lines of the conflict.
