President Donald Trump has announced his intention to report NBC News anchor Kristen Welker to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) following her recent statements about his endorsement record. According to a post on Truth Social, Trump accused Welker of labeling his endorsed candidates’ performance as “mixed results,” despite claims that Trump-endorsed candidates like Darline Graham and Mike Mazzei achieved 100% success in U.S. Senate races and 98% in U.S. House elections.

Trump wrote: “Kristen Welker, the Unpopular ‘Hostess’ of the once great Meet the Press, now considered Meet the Fake Press, just stated that Donald Trump has ‘mixed results’ on his Endorsements of Candidates, when the recent WINS of Darline Graham and Mike Mazzei, stand at 100% for the U.S. Senate, and 98% for the U.S. House.”

The president emphasized that Welker’s characterization of the endorsement outcomes contradicts verified results, stating: “How can anyone be allowed to say this, working for freely given Public Airwaves? Results are attached. Because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment.”

NBC News defended Welker in a statement to Fox News Digital, asserting that she is “one of the best in the business” and that the network stands by her. The anchor reportedly made the comment during a live preview appearance on NBC4 Washington earlier this week, not during Sunday’s Meet the Press broadcast.
