President Trump has reignited speculation about a potential 2028 presidential run with a series of AI-generated images posted on Truth Social over Saturday afternoon.

In one image, Trump appears beside George Washington, both signing documents with feather pens. Another depicts the two leaders riding horses side by side: Trump on a black stallion and Washington on a white horse under a sunset. The most notable post showed Trump wearing what he described as a “Trump 2028” hat, captioned simply: “We are going to win.”

The president has long floated the idea of seeking a third term in 2028, though critics have repeatedly argued such a move would violate the Constitution’s 22nd Amendment. Ratified in February 1951, that amendment limits presidents to two terms.

During an interview at Joint Base Andrews, Trump acknowledged being asked about a potential 2028 bid, stating: “the law is very strong.” He added that while he would like to run again, the legal constraints are clear.

This latest post comes amid ongoing discussions about Trump’s stance on re-election, as he has frequently navigated a fine line between joking about future runs and signaling potential seriousness throughout his presidency.
