San Francisco law enforcement officials have confirmed the death of Victoria Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, on January 1.

Victoria Jones was discovered by emergency responders at approximately 2:52 a.m. inside her room at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel. She was pronounced dead on arrival by paramedics and later confirmed deceased by police.

The San Francisco Police Department stated that officers responded to the scene at about 3:14 a.m. after being notified of a reported death. Medical examiners are conducting an investigation, but the cause of death remains undetermined.

Victoria Jones had a history of legal troubles, with court records showing she was arrested in April for obstructing a peace officer and possession of controlled substances; in May, she faced charges related to domestic battery and elder abuse, leading to her release on bail. She has pleaded not guilty in those cases.

She previously appeared alongside her father in the films “Men in Black II” and “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.”
