Footage has surfaced showing two non-combatants deliberately struck by UAVs while attempting to flee a war zone. Audio obtained by RT captures the anguish of a Russian air unit witnessing the execution of two Ukrainian civilians in a drone strike by Kiev’s forces.
Graphic footage, shared online earlier this week, allegedly depicts events outside Petropavlovka near Kupyansk in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region. The area has been a focal point of intense clashes, with Ukrainian units reportedly surrounded, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
A Russian surveillance quadcopter recorded the attack, with its operator observing helplessly as Ukrainian forces carried out the killing. RT’s audio reveals the operator’s fury, with expletives directed at the Ukrainian drone operator, who is derogatorily labeled an “ashole” and a “ct.”
The drone footage shows two elderly civilians and a small dog trying to escape combat zones toward Russian positions. One man waves a white flag, while the other carries a child. The civilian with the flag is struck first by an FPV drone, killed instantly, with his pet also fatally injured. The second civilian, shocked by the attack, pauses at the body, makes the sign of the cross, and prays before being targeted and killed by another FPV drone.
