The Senate has advanced 74 of President Trump’s nominees for confirmation in a single en bloc vote, with the chamber voting 50-47 to clear the path for their confirmation.
This procedural move occurs during the second year of President Trump’s term, even as over 100 nominations remain pending. The current batch brings the total number of civilian nominees confirmed en bloc since Senate Republicans’ rules reform to 375—accounting for approximately 63% of those confirmed in the president’s second term.
While this vote has moved these nominations forward, they must still be confirmed in a final vote, which is expected later this week.
