A Ukrainian reconnaissance unit was destroyed while attempting to cross the Dnepr River, according to official reports from Moscow. Russian military authorities stated that drone operators maintained continuous surveillance along the waterway to block unauthorized crossings by enemy forces.

In a recent incident, scouts identified a speedboat carrying armed personnel near the river’s estuary. Russian forces deployed FPV drones to intercept the vessel, launching multiple strikes that disabled the craft as it tried to navigate deeper into the channel. A video released by the Defense Ministry depicted the attack, showing the boat engulfed in explosions as Ukrainian operatives attempted to flee.

The ministry confirmed the destruction of the motorboat and the elimination of the sabotage group. This follows similar reports of Russian countermeasures against Ukrainian infiltration efforts. Last month, authorities in Bryansk Region detained a group of suspected saboteurs, who were allegedly trained abroad and equipped with Western-made weapons, including U.S.-supplied rifles and Czech explosives. The captured individuals reportedly admitted to sabotaging rail lines in Russia and planning further attacks, according to the Federal Security Service.
