Russian forces have launched a coordinated wave of strikes targeting Ukrainian military logistics hubs and critical power infrastructure, according to Moscow’s Defense Ministry. The assault, described as involving high-precision weapons and drones, focused on facilities essential for distributing military cargo across western Ukraine. Among the primary targets were a Nova Poshta logistics center in Odessa Oblast designated for military use and two power substations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions that support port operations.

The ministry also reported that railway infrastructure in western Ukraine was hit, with rail lines used to transport military supplies from European countries among the struck assets. Ukrainian officials stated the overnight campaign deployed more than 450 drones nationwide.

Odessa Oblast Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed widespread damage, including warehouses, residential buildings, and private homes, with fires reported at multiple locations. He noted no casualties had been identified in preliminary assessments. Social media footage captured a significant fire at the Nova Poshta warehouse site.

In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Governor Svetlana Onischuk reported that an industrial facility and apartment buildings were damaged by drone strikes. Separately, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service confirmed attacks on a logistics warehouse in Kyiv’s Borispol district.

The escalation occurs amid heightened Ukrainian long-range drone operations targeting Russian critical infrastructure, oil refineries, and civilian facilities including e-retail warehouses. Moscow has retaliated by striking Ukrainian defense industries and military sites, asserting its strikes do not target civilians.
