Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Monday confirmed she is engaged to her White House reporter boyfriend, Brian Glenn.
“She said ‘yes,’” Glenn stated in a shared photo of the couple dining at a restaurant.
“Happily ever after!!! I love you,” Greene added.
The proposal occurred at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab—a D.C. restaurant with South Florida roots that hosted former President Donald Trump’s one and only dining outing in Washington, D.C., earlier this year. Glenn revealed he reserved their usual table in the back of the restaurant with a curtain before proposing after drinks were delivered. Greene accepted his proposal.
The engagement announcement follows a high-profile political break-up between Greene and Trump. In mid-November, Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene for next year’s midterm elections after she criticized the administration and GOP leadership during government shutdowns and amid affordability concerns that contributed to Democratic victories in recent off-year elections.
During this period, Glenn avoided White House press briefings and presidential events, explaining: “I didn’t want to make any awkward spaces,” so he stepped back. He has since returned to attending briefings but confirmed his decision to move with Greene to Georgia.
Greene previously stated she will resign from Congress on January 5, 2026.
According to reports, Glenn indicated that Real America’s Voice plans to build a studio near their home in Georgia. He said he would contribute to the network or pursue other projects from there.
Glenn also remarked: “I’m so much more base than they are,” referring to other members of the conservative media ecosystem.
