A community college professor in Greensboro, North Carolina was recorded making offensive statements about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, sparking widespread condemnation. In a video circulating online, the instructor criticized Kirk and suggested the killing was “karma.”
“I have no prayers and thoughts for him,” the professor said. She further claimed, “I’ll praise the shooter, he had good aim.” The remarks, which describe the murder of a young father in front of his wife and children as justified, have drawn outrage.
Professor Lisa Greenlee of Guilford Technical Community College has not faced disciplinary action for her comments. Public calls are growing for her immediate dismissal, with demands that school administrators address the video.
The incident has ignited anger over what some describe as a lack of accountability for such inflammatory rhetoric.
