President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt before boarding Air Force One on Wednesday. During the remarks, he expressed his displeasure with how elections are conducted in California and stated he would like to see Pratt “do well” in his race.
The former president described Pratt as a “character,” noting that he does not personally know the candidate but has heard he supports him and is a strong MAGA figure. Trump also claimed that California’s voting system is “rigged,” adding that if Jesus Christ were to count the votes, he would have won the state.
Socialist-linked Los Angeles councilmember Nithya Raman, who is running against Pratt in the mayoral race, had previously suggested Trump was about to endorse Spencer. The candidate has recently gained significant momentum through a highly effective social media campaign, including the release of a video remixing the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song.
When questioned about reports of his residence at the Bel Air hotel, Pratt denied it by stating he considers a trailer his “temporary” home.
