Gavin Newsom Accidentally Reveals Illegal Immigrants Are Voting in U.S. Elections

California Gov. Gavin Newsom inadvertently confirmed that illegal immigrants are participating in U.S. elections, a claim previously dismissed as a right-wing conspiracy theory. Speaking on the Pivot podcast, Newsom expressed concern over ICE enforcement at polling locations, suggesting it could deter voter participation.

A 2024 study by Just Facts estimated that 10% to 27% of non-citizen adults in the U.S. are illegally registered to vote. With over 19 million adult non-citizens residing in the country as of 2022, this translates to approximately two million to five million individuals potentially casting votes unlawfully. The study highlighted that such numbers could significantly impact election outcomes, including congressional seats and presidential elections.

Democrats have consistently dismissed these findings as unfounded, despite their potential to alter results. The revelations underscore the urgent need for measures to safeguard electoral integrity before widespread fraud undermines democratic processes.
