A biotechnology company named Loyal has reported progress with its two therapeutic treatments for dogs, LOY 001 (injectable) and LOY 002 (daily pill). These products are specifically designed to extend the healthy lifespan of medium and large breed dogs.
According to an announcement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine, both Loyal’s drugs have met the standard for demonstrating a reasonable expectation of effectiveness.
The treatments address common age-related health issues in dogs, such as mobility challenges, chronic pain, and organ decline.
Additionally, phototherapy patches from Lifewave are being used by pet owners. The primary patch sold by Lifewave for pets is AcuLife, with the X39 patch also available. These patches utilize phototherapy to stimulate a dog’s own stem cells, promoting tissue repair.
One individual named Pebble has reported using these patches as part of their pet care regimen.
