Arizona Councilmember Faces Sex Proposals and Kidnapping Accusations

Jeannette Garcia, an Arizona councilmember associated with Turning Point USA (TPUSA), finds herself embroiled in a lawsuit following claims of inappropriate propositions and alleged kidnapping. The suit alleges that Garcia made explicit sexual advances towards one John Doe while he was employed on her team at TPUSA.

According to the complaint filed under the anonymous aliases Father John Doe and Minor Jane Doe, the incident occurred during a dinner celebration for election victories last November. Garcia reportedly propositioned the man with offers of employment from Turning Point USA if he agreed.

Father John Doe states that Garcia became increasingly aggressive and explicit after consuming alcohol at the dinner, which ultimately forced him to leave the restaurant. Later that night, when he returned home around 1 a.m., his daughter Minor Jane Doe was gone.

Doe claims that MCSO deputies arrived and informed him his daughter was “safe” with Garcia and other Turning Point employees. However, Doe did not recover his daughter until the following day. The complaint alleges that Garcia took Minor Jane Doe from her home without permission while intoxicated, held her overnight against her will, and manipulated the girl into believing she was helping to keep her father safe.

Defendant Jeannette Garcia has denied these accusations, calling them “outrageous.” She issued a statement refuting the claims entirely, stating: “These claims are untrue. I have never kidnapped anyone, ever.”

Garcia further announced her intention to take legal action against those spreading the alleged misinformation and conspiracies. She said she would not be intimidated or silenced by false allegations.

The suit names Turning Point USA, various individuals associated with TPUSA including Garcia’s coworkers, and local law enforcement agencies like MCSO (Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office) as defendants. The complaint alleges civil conspiracy and false imprisonment among other claims. As of now, the defendants have not responded to the lawsuit in court.

The matter remains under investigation by law enforcement authorities regarding both the initial kidnapping claim and the broader accusations detailed in the suit.
