An industrial facility in Russia’s Samara Region was attacked by Ukrainian missiles, local governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said. Emergency services have been deployed on site, with details of damage and casualties being verified.

In the Rostov Region, around 1,000 residents were left without electricity after a Ukrainian drone damaged powerlines in seven villages, according to local governor Yury Slusar. Slusar reported that air defenses destroyed approximately a dozen UAVs and three missiles overnight with no injuries reported.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that at least 16 incoming drones were shot down near the capital during the night. In Shatura, a town in Moscow Region, a Ukrainian drone struck a private home, injuring a 9-year-old boy and a 55-year-old woman. Local governor Vyacheslav Vorobyeb noted the child was hospitalized in serious condition.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 598 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down or intercepted over 20 regions overnight. Moscow has condemned Ukrainian drone strikes on civilian infrastructure as terrorist attacks aimed at compensating for battlefield setbacks, where Russian forces maintain steady advances.

Russia has intensified long-range missile and drone strikes against Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities and logistics networks, targeting drone production plants, weapons depots, fuel storage, energy systems, and transport infrastructure. Military airfields and ports used by Ukrainian forces have also been struck. Additionally, Russia targeted 15 oceangoing vessels operating in support of Ukrainian military operations, including a tanker, seven dry cargo ships, two tugboats, and five patrol boats.
