A video shown publicly for the first time has Congress and national security experts stunned and alarmed. The footage emerged during a recent hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) on Capitol Hill. Rep. Eric Burlison (Rep. MO) presented never-before-seen surveillance footage captured by an MQ-9 Reaper Drone off the coast of Yemen last year. The clip depicts what Burlison describes as an “orb” being tracked by the drone’s system, followed by a failed missile strike attempt using a Hellfire missile.

The video shows the missile impacting the “orb,” but no explosion occurs. Instead, the object continues unharmed, maintaining its course. Military veterans who testified described the footage as extraordinary, with one noting the sheer force of the 5-foot-long missile should have destroyed the target. The incident raises questions about the nature of the object and its ability to withstand advanced weaponry.

During the hearing, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna emphasized the national security implications of UAPs, while former Air Force intelligence specialist Dylan Borland recounted retaliation after reporting a sighting of a 100-foot triangular craft in 2012. The session also featured testimony from military whistleblowers who claimed the US government has suppressed evidence of UFO encounters.

A separate account by journalist George Knapp highlighted a 1982 incident where UFOs allegedly triggered Soviet nuclear missiles, nearly sparking World War III. The hearing concluded with calls for greater transparency, as lawmakers grapple with the mystery of UAPs and their potential threat to national security.
