A two-time Grammy Award-winning country music legend known for his comedic style and classics such as “The Streak” and “Guitarzan” is reportedly recovering after sustaining serious injuries in a recent fall.
Ray Stevens, 87, was released from the hospital following surgery to address a broken neck. Medical professionals have advised him to wear a neck brace for approximately four weeks during his recovery process.
The incident occurred on Sunday, according to medical sources. Despite the injury, Stevens remains fully mobile and in good spirits as he continues his rehabilitation.
Stevens’ upcoming album, “Favorites Old & New,” scheduled for release this Friday, is proceeding with its debut. The project will include several of his enduring hits, including “The Look of Love” and “It Had To Be You.”
In July 2025, the singer experienced a mild heart attack that required successful cardiac surgery. This recent fall represents another health challenge for the veteran artist.
