A man in Michigan was arrested on Friday night after driving his car through a terminal at Detroit Metro Airport. Footage captured the black sedan plowing into the McNamara Terminal around 7:30 p.m., smashing through glass doors where Delta Airlines employees were working.

The driver exited the vehicle with hands raised and appeared dazed as security personnel and airport officials rushed to the debris-filled area. “The response was so quick, thank God with the cops and TSA and everybody,” said Ali Khalifa, a traveler who witnessed the incident.

According to the Wayne County Airport Authority, the vehicle struck a ticket counter and became fully lodged inside the terminal before the driver was apprehended. Six individuals were treated for injuries at the scene but none required hospitalization.
